Book two of the Invisible Chain picks up where book one
ends. Ehander has relinquished his title of prince and given himself to the
mercies of his younger brother, a dumb idea considering what he did in the
previous book. But what can I say? Some people are a slave for love, while
others its master. New characters are introduced and threat to the Northern
Marches becomes imminent as a group of young Mukthar is captured.
One of the things I like most about this series is the fact
that the characters keep evolving -or devolving in some cases- and that the
idea that everything comes with a price continues.
With a four out of five, this is an excellent
continuation of the Invisible Hands series.
